In Greek mythology, the labyrinth (Greek: λαβ?ρινθο? labyrinthos) was an elaborate structure designed and built by the legendary artificer Daedalus for King Minos of Crete at Knossos. Its function was to hold the Minotaur eventually killed by the hero Theseus.
